In That Moment : The Choices We Make & The Perspectives We Take (An Empowering Perspective Book 3)
About
An Empowering Perspective
Every moment in life asks you to choose—and that choice shapes your path. At the heart of every decision are two forces: logic and emotion. When balanced, they guide wise action. When ruled by habit, one or the other rules you.
An Empowering Perspective teaches you to choose the view that empowers. Learn to see life as working for you rather than happening to you. This shift turns setbacks into stepping stones, fear into fuel, and confusion into clarity. Rooted in real experience and practical habit work, this book shows you how to reframe moments, make stronger choices, and create a reality that serves your highest goals.
Inside you’ll find:
- Clear contrasts between disempowering and empowering responses to everyday moments.
- Practical exercises and journaling prompts at the end of each piece to reframe past and present events.
- Tools to balance logic and emotion so you act deliberately, not reactively.
- A framework to align conscious goals with subconscious beliefs—so growth becomes natural and sustainable.
If you’re ready to stop drifting and start designing your life, An Empowering Perspective gives you the lens, the practice, and the roadmap. Open these pages, do the work, and watch your reality begin to shift.
Thank you for choosing this book—perhaps it found you at the perfect moment.
Praise for this book
This book found me at the exact right moment.
I picked this up during one of those stretches where everything felt like it was happening to me rather than for me. I was reacting to everything, making decisions from stress rather than intention, and could not seem to break the pattern no matter what I tried. "In That Moment" gave me a framework I could actually use in real time. The contrast between disempowering and empowering responses to everyday situations is where the book does its best work. Seeing both options laid out clearly made me realize how automatic my negative responses had become. That awareness alone started shifting things before I even finished the first section.
Must buy book!
What I love most about this book is how real it feels. Matt doesn’t just write about growth and perspective, he’s lived it. His story and insights remind you that no matter what you’ve been through, there’s always a way to use those experiences to become stronger and better. It’s genuine, thoughtful, and leaves you thinking long after you finish.
Not your typical self help book.
I’ve read or listened to so many different types of self help books and none of them have been as great as this one! This author doesn’t just stick to the typical narrative of be positive he breaks down how you might act poorly in a bad situation and helps to turn that around. He helps you to see why you feel out of control and because of everyday life we just live on auto pilot. He helps you to see past your bad experiences and how they can make you better and stronger! This is a must have book!!
